Additional Endowed Scholarships

There are several scholarships available to members based on varied criteria. A gift to any of these scholarship funds, including those below, ensures that sisters will continue to benefit from these scholarship opportunities. 

 

  • The General Scholarship Endowment provides general, unrestricted scholarships to collegians and alumnae of Alpha Gamma Delta. 
     
  • The Elaine Barrick Bess Scholarship was established by Elaine Barrick Bess, Alpha Gamma, in 2004, to support the educational studies of our alumnae and collegiate sisters.  
     
  • The G. Robert Grant Scholarship was established by Harriett Fox Grant, Lambda, in 1997 in memory of her husband. Harriett entered Chapter Grand in 2005.
     
  • The Harriett Fox Grant Scholarship was established by Harriett Fox Grant, Lambda, to support the educational studies of our alumnae and collegiate sisters. Harriett entered Chapter Grand in 2005.
     
  • The Theta Sigma Upsilon Scholarship was created thanks to our sisters who were initiated into Alpha Gamma Delta through the merger of Theta Sigma Upsilon into Alpha Gamma Delta.  
     
  • The William and Gloria Rumsfield Scholarship was established by Sue Rumsfield Clary, Beta Omicron, in 2008 in memory of Sue's parents, William and Gloria.
     
  • The Diana Stevens Falk Memorial Scholarship was established by the Potomac Alumnae Chapter in memory of Diana Stevens Falk, Epsilon. The scholarship supports the educational journey of our Alpha Gam sisters. Diana served in numerous leadership roles including as a trustee of the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.

Be a Jewel! With the next gift of $500 to any fund an additional $500 will be unlocked thanks to long time Jewel Society member, Kathy Spindler, Beta Xi '72. Boiler Up!
